Clove’s POV
Next morning
I go over to visit Rex, Rose and my mother this morning.
Rose opens the door, “Clove!” she smiles. “We were afraid you forgot about us.”
“Yeah I wish,” I say, stepping into the house, Rex is watching something on the projector screen, as usual.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Rex asks.
“It means, you go from perverted to over-protective in about 2 weeks.” I tell him.
Rex scowls, “I don’t like Cato.” He says.
“And that has nothing to do with him being my first boyfriend, and the first guy I’ve ever been in love with.”
“Maybe you’re moving a bit fast.” Rex says.
“Yeah and maybe you should-“
“Clove, Rex, don’t antagonize each other.” Rose scolds. “Any reason you came over Clove?”
“Can’t I just come over to see my family?” I want to know.
“Of course, I just wanted to get to the subject before you break one of our mother’s last vases.” Rose explains.
I smile, “Well, now that you said it.”
