The interview with Caesar flies by, and so does the party, there’s food everywhere. Apparently the Capitol citizens drink this stuff that makes them puke so they can eat more, how gross is that? Anyway, I lost sight of Clove as soon as we get into the house, I’m a little worried about her, but then again, she is Clove, I doubt there’s anyone on the planet that could make her do anything she didn’t want to.
Finally around 5 in the morning, we get back to the train to get back to 2. Clove seems a little loopy, and Ellen, Brutus, and Enobaria are all drunk, the prep teams are nowhere to be found, but since we don’t need to have them on the way back, the train leaves them in the Capitol.
“Cato, can I talk to you?” Clove asks me, the laughter gone from her eyes; we’re standing in the main room of the train.
“Yeah, sure,” I say, standing in front of the short brunette.
We both stand in the dark room of the train in silence for a while.
“Well…..I, I-“ Clove begins.
“Clove, Cato, where are you dearsssss?” I hear Enobaria call, ugh, it sounds so weird hearing our old mentors drunk.
“In the main room!” I call back.
2 seconds later, Brutus and Enobaria come into the room.
“What’s going on in here?” Brutus asks, flicking on the lights, eyes darting between Clove and I.
“Uh, nothing.” Clove says.
Damnit Brutus and Enobaria!
